Job summary

The Medical Waste Route Driver position at WM (Waste Management) services assigned accounts, delivering waste and supplies with a focus on professional customer service. Responsibilities include route adherence, safety, and coordination with dispatch to ensure timely pickups and accurate documentation.

Candidates must have a CDL-B, at least 6 months driving CMV experience, and the ability to obtain a medical card. The role supports safety and compliance with ELD and GPS-enabled vehicles.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience driving a CMV or box trucks.
• CDL Class B with an excellent driving record.
• Able to obtain a medical card from a certified examiner.

Responsibilities

• Manage routes to ensure waste pickups are safe, timely and accurate.
• Pick up and transport waste safely following all rules and regulations.
• Follow routing software and schedule routes accordingly.
• Plan daily schedules using manifests and route sheets provided by dispatch.
• Prepare paperwork, load supplies, and secure waste before transport.
• Provide high level customer service and communicate issues for resolution.
