Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Medical Waste Route Driver to service assigned accounts, providing top-tier customer service while transporting waste to transfer or processing locations. Vehicles include telematics and GPS; DOT logs are required.

The role requires CDL Class B, a clean driving record, and the ability to obtain a medical card. Training is provided, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience driving a commercial motor vehicle or box trucks.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an excellent driving record.
• All CMV/CDL drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned routes ensuring waste is picked up in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Pre-trip and post-trip checks and maintenance on the truck.
• Follow routing software and daily schedules; report issues to supervisor.
• Ensure proper handling and transport of waste in compliance with regulations.
