Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Medical Waste Route Driver to service assigned accounts with professional, reliable waste pickup and delivery. You may also transport waste between WMHS locations and customer sites, using cameras, ELD and GPS-enabled vehicles to ensure compliance and safety.

The role emphasizes customer service, safe operation, and adherence to all regulations, with the driver responsible for pre/post trip checks, planning daily routes, and coordinating with supervisors for

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience, preferably in driving box trucks and route management.
• Valid Driver’s License; CMV drivers must be able to obtain a medical card.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned routes ensuring customers’ waste is picked up in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
• Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, provincial, and local rules and regulations.
• Plans daily schedule based on customers’ needs by reviewing daily paperwork.
• Follows routing software route schedule.
• Load/unload trucks and secure waste at customer sites and WMHS locations.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts daily.
