Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Class B driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Taylor, MI area, collecting sharps and medical waste from healthcare customers and delivering a high level of customer service daily. The role offers autonomy, stable hours, OT potential, and a strong benefits package with PPE and safety training.

The position requires a CDL B license, willingness to work about 40 hours per week, and compliance with DOT regulations, including logging hours and pre/post-trip checks.

Qualifications

• CDL B License is required for the role.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations is preferred.
• Must pass the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships.
• Operate vehicles in a safe manner, including 26 ft box trucks.
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes.
• Load and unload as needed and organize the truck per schedule.
