Daniels Health is seeking a customer-focused driver to operate a 26-foot box truck in the Grand Rapids, MI area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver high-quality customer service daily.

The role offers autonomy, stable hours, OT potential, and a comprehensive benefits package. A $3k sign-on bonus is available for new hires, with $1k after 30 days and $2k after 90 days.

Qualifikationen

• Class B license required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling preferred.
• Willingness to work full-time (~40 hours/week).
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Pass 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Customer‑focused with a can‑do attitude.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and inspections.
• Experience driving up to 26 ft box trucks.

Aufgaben

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships.
• Operate vehicles safely (26 ft box trucks, up to 53 ft where applicable).
• Complete on-time deliveries and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload; organize truck per schedule and needs.
• Manage routes per leadership direction and ensure efficient service.
• Comply with DOT regulations and conduct roadside inspections.
• Heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
