Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a non CDL driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Taylor, MI area, collecting medical waste containers and delivering outstanding customer service to healthcare locations daily.

This full‑time role offers autonomy, stable hours, OT opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package with day‑one medical, dental and vision coverage. A $3,000 sign‑on bonus is paid in installments after 30 and 90 days.

Qualifications

• Non CDL driving experience required.
• Delivery or driving experience with manual handling.
• Must be able to work full time ~40 hours/week.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Passing 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must maintain DOT compliance and hours logging.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise.
• Loading and unloading and prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs.
• Managing a route per leaderships direction and delivering timely, efficient and effective service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Heavy lifting.
