Job summary

Clean Harbors in Eagan, MN is seeking an entry level Field Chemist (CDL B) to handle, pack and inspect chemical waste at customer sites and labs. This is a customer facing role working daily at diverse sites.

You will support lab packs, HHW collections, and moves, with on-the-job training and opportunities to advance into salary management after 18–36 months. Starting pay ranges with overtime, with a strong safety culture and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Customer service skills essential.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months.
• Able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• Follow OSHA respiratory protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, and manifests.
• Inspect staging, storage areas and drums.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal.
• Execute field projects at customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations.
• Operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
