Job summary

Clean Harbors in Eagan, MN is seeking a CDL B Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack and inspect chemical waste at customer sites and facilities. This entry-level role supports lab packs, HHW collections and lab moves, with daily customer-facing activity at various locations.

You will work both indoors and outdoors, travel to client sites, and participate in comprehensive training and career growth within Clean Harbors Technical Services.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with hazmat/tanker endorsement required within 6 months.
• Ability to perform physical work and operate field equipment.
• Commitment to OSHA/ EPA/ DOT and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the priority and follow safe work practices.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect storage areas for leaks, labeling and housekeeping.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and ensure shippability.
• Perform site-based projects at customer locations and with Clean Harbors.
• Review projects for OSHA/EPA/DOT compliance before shipment.
• Operate vehicles per DOT and state/federal requirements.
• Adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines.
