Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking an experienced CDL B driver to join our waste management team. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in compliance with our environmental policies.

Key duties include labeling containers, completing manifests, loading and transporting waste in tankers, conducting pre-trip inspections, and maintaining safety, regulatory compliance and professional interaction with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
Must be at least 21 years old.
TWIC Card and experience driving box trucks.
Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (to be obtained after hire) and experience with vac trucks/roll-offs.
English fluency (verbal and written) important.
Pass DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.

Responsibilities

Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local rules.
Label containers and complete manifests/work orders; schedule shipments.
Perform regulatory compliance and safety tasks including pre-trip inspections and reporting issues.
Maintain daily contact with customers and internal staff to coordinate waste removal.
Process manifests, bills of lading, and licensing paperwork for waste shipments.
Load and transport waste safely in tankers as required.
Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
