Job summary

Veolia is recruiting experienced drivers to join our North American team, supporting Waste and Hazardous Materials operations. You will transport and dispose of waste following all safety and regulatory guidelines, with responsibilities spanning label work, manifests, and on-site/off-site shipments.

Positions require CDL A/B, clean driving record, and ability to operate heavy equipment; overtime and occasional overnights may be needed. We value safety, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2+ years of similar driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission (no restrictions).
• Tanker and Airbrake Endorsements may be required and could be funded by the company.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Label containers and complete manifests/work orders. Schedule shipments into or off site.
• Pickup and drop off loaded and empty roll off boxes using a tractor trailer.
• Perform End Dump and Tanker work as needed.
• Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials.
• Operates a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.
• Conducts pre-trip inspections and reports losses, spills, accidents, and safety violations.
• Occasional overnights required and other duties as assigned by management.
