Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver - CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to customers in Dallas, TX. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-operation inspections, routing per dispatch, servicing customers on the route, and maintaining accurate reports while upholding safety policies and company values.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to safely operate heavy truck following company policies.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse and dispose at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste quality.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and safety policies.
• Complete required reports and route/productivity sheets.
