Job summary

Airgas, located in Newnan, GA, is hiring for an Inside Sales Back up Driver. This role supports walk-in and phone customers, selling medical, industrial and specialty gases, welding equipment and hard goods.

You will help with delivery operations by operating a 20-ton truck loaded with cylinders on scheduled or unscheduled routes. Responsibilities include driving a CDL B vehicle, assisting customers, processing payments, loading/unloading, and maintaining a safe showroom environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Airbrake endorsements.
• HazMat endorsement required to be considered.
• Must maintain license, medical card and endorsements.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in last 5 years or trucking school completion.

Responsibilities

• Drive CDL B truck to deliver products safely to customers.
• Assist walk-in and phone customers by identifying the right products.
• Process payments and enter sales into the system, wrap and bag items.
• Load, deliver and unload hard goods and cylinders; load safety handling.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and deliver superior customer service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report needs.
