Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Counter Sales Associate/Backup CDL Driver in Dickson, TN. This position involves selling industrial, medical, and specialty gases, assisting customers in person or remotely, and providing guidance on equipment needs.

You will also load and unload cylinders, operate forklifts, and back up driving duties as required. Qualified candidates are 21+, hold a valid CDL A with HazMat endorsement, and preferably have forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL and Hazmat endorsement.
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sales of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment to new and existing customers.
• Customer support via email, telephone, and in-person walk-ins; guidance on equipment usage and material requirements.
• Load/unload cylinders, operate forklifts, and act as backup driver when needed.
• Monitor hardgoods and cylinder inventory to prevent supply emergencies.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including coding, costing, pricing, and past-due discussions.
