Job summary

Staffmark Group in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a CDL-A Yard Hostler to operate an automatic-transmission yard goat, stage trailers, and move them between the main facility and storage yard.

Education Requirements

• Experience coupling and uncoupling trailers.
• Strong safety record and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow dispatch instructions and work independently in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to climb in and out of equipment frequently throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, walk, and perform trailer connection and inspection tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive driving and trailer-moving tasks during 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to conduct pre-trip and equipment inspections as required.
