Staffmark Group in Fresno, CA is hiring for a Non-CDL Yard Hostler on a day shift. The role starts around 4:00 AM with Sundays through Thursdays being the busiest; some Saturdays may be required. Earn $25.00 per hour with guaranteed 8 hours pay per scheduled workday, regardless of early release.

Responsibilities include moving trailers, operating yard equipment, and maintaining a safe, organized yard. CDL is not required but a valid license and safety focus are essential.

What You'll Do

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience moving and positioning trailers in a warehouse, distribution center, or transportation yard.
• Ability to safely couple and uncouple trailers.
• Valid Driver's License required. CDL is not required.
• Good driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.

Driving Requirements

• Safely operate a yard goat to move and position trailers within the yard.
• Move trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and designated parking locations.
• Follow all yard traffic patterns, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and report any safety or mechanical concerns.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment in a low-volume yard environment.
• Operate exclusively within the yard; no public road driving required.
