Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a dependable truck driver to move and position tractors and trailers at our Winston-Salem facility. You will support shipping, receiving, and yard operations while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires a valid CDL A license, ability to meet DOT regulations, and clear communication in English. You will perform routine inspections, help with routine maintenance, and ensure the yard remains clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement if needed.
• Must meet DOT requirements and DFA MVR standards.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck or tractor to move, position or park trucks and trailers to support shipping and receiving.
• Hook, unhook and maneuver trailers to/from service and dock areas.
• Position loaded/unloaded trailers at assigned dock spaces for loading/unloading.
• Maintain accurate trailer and inventory movement logs and reports.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Keep yard and equipment clean and sanitary and adhere to safety policies.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
