Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Frederick, MD, is seeking an experienced truck driver to move and position trucks and trailers to support shipping and receiving. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires a CDL Class A license (tank endorsement if needed), a high school diploma or equivalent, and DOT/MVR compliance. Expect a Tuesday–Saturday 4pm–12am shift at DFA facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license in state of residence; tanker endorsement if needed.
• Meet all DOT requirements.
• Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Responsibilities

• Move and position trucks and trailers to optimize shipping/receiving.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain yard neatness; wash trucks when appropriate.
• Complete sales route deliveries and/or over-the-road routes as needed.
• Adhere to DFA safety, DOT, and GMP policies and report incidents.
• Attend driver workshops and training sessions.
• Log trailer movements accurately.
