Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Local Night Shift Driver to deliver food and related products. This role requires a CDL-A, clean MVR, and the ability to handle 10–90 lb items. You will work varied nights 5:00pm to finish, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip and inspect vehicle per DOT rules.
• Drive routes, deliver orders on schedule and unload goods.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Complete required freight paperwork legibly and accurately.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs and keep areas tidy.
