Cheney Brothers is seeking a dedicated Local Night Shift CDL-A Driver in Florida to ensure timely delivery of food and food-related products. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, performing safety checks and maintaining DOT compliance while delivering to customers.

As the brand face on the road, you will load/unload, gather necessary signatures, and handle routine paperwork with care.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsabilidades

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspect tractor/truck and trailer for DOT compliance.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Report safety hazards and ensure proper freight loading.
• Complete accurate paperwork for freight and route inspections.
• Deliver and unload customer orders on schedule and obtain signatures.
• Secure equipment and manage loading/unloading tasks.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service records as required.
