Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a CDL-A driver for a night shift with dispatch from 1am to 4am to deliver food and related products. You will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck, adhere to DOT regulations, and ensure on-time, safe deliveries to customers.

The role requires 12+ months of driving experience, a clean MVR, and a valid CDL-A license. Ability to lift up to 90 pounds and a DOT health card are required; great benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL-A and have a clean MVR.
• Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.
• Ability to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds as location varies.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on local, interstate routes and OT routes.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections as required by DOT.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and accurate paperwork.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers professionally.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Secure cargo and unload as required.
