Cheney Brothers is hiring a CDL-A Driver for early-morning dispatch with home daily routes across intrastate and interstate destinations. The position emphasizes safe driving practices, DOT compliance, and excellent customer service as you deliver food products to clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure new.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT inspections.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers as scheduled.
• Obtains customer signatures and processes paperwork accurately.
• Loads returns and secures trailer doors.
• Ensures equipment and freight are secured.
• Completes daily hours of service records as required.
