Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is hiring a CDL Class A driver to move and position trucks and trailers in the yard, docks, and service areas. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, log movements, and help keep the yard clean and safe.

The role requires DOT compliance, a tanker endorsement, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Schedule is 3pm–11pm, Mon/Tues/Thu/Fri, with pay of $21.07 per hour.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to meet DOT and DFA MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and trucks to optimize yard and dock efficiency.
• Hook, unhook and position trailers at dock areas and service department.
• Spot loaded and unloaded trailers at assigned dock spaces for loading/unloading.
• Connect loaded semitrailers to tractors for drivers.
• Maintain accurate trailer and inventory movement logs.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
