Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Yard Driver in Miami to move tractor trailers to loading docks and parking areas. You will transport units to offsite facilities, conduct daily safety checks, and ensure secure parking while complying with DOT rules. The role emphasizes safe driving, teamwork, and accurate paperwork.

The position requires a CDL A, 21+ years old, and a clean MVR. Training and onboarding begin with safety and operations protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of tractor trailer experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Safely move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Handle and return all paperwork related to offsite maintenance/inspections.
• Ensure tractors, trailers, and freight are secured at all times.
• Perform housekeeping and keep areas clean and organized.
• End of shift, secure equipment and complete paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
