Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver in Miami, FL to move tractor trailers to and from loading docks and to park trailers in designated areas. You will also transport trucks to offsite maintenance facilities, performing safety checks and ensuring compliance with DOT rules.

Daily tasks include securing equipment, handling related paperwork, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Valid CDL A and DOT Health Card are required, with 21+ years old and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 6+ months of tractor trailer experience.
• CDL A license required; DOT Health Card and road test by company policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Handle paperwork for offsite maintenance/inspection facilities.
• Ensure equipment, tractor, trailer, and freight are secured at all times.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and maintain clean working areas.
