Job summary

American Driver LLC seeks CDL holders for eastern regional routes. Training is paid weekly, with a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months after going solo. Once solo, weekly pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,800, with mileage pay starting at $0.55/mi and rising to $0.65/mi by year-end.

Expect 2,000–2,500 miles weekly, with $15 stop pay and weekly direct deposit. Drivers return home biweekly and receive comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• New CDL grad with 120+ hours or 6 months of recent trucking experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 2 years; no DUI/DWI in past 10 years.
• DOT physical and drug screen completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional eastern lanes with a mix of drop and hook and live freight.
• Home every two weeks; orientation and training completed before solo driving.
• Follow mentor-run plan during training and transition to solo driving with guaranteed pay during the initial period.

Northshore drivers: eastern lanes, steady miles, and a paid start for new CDL grads.

Loads stay east and do not go far west, so the routes get familiar fast. You train with a mentor first, paid, then run solo.

What you earn

• Paid every week during training
• $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo
• $1,200 to $1,800 a week once solo
• $0.55 a mile to start, +$0.01 a year up to $0.65

Your week

Eastern regional lanes, a mix of drop and hook and live freight. Out about two weeks, then home. Day and night dispatch.

New CDL? Here is the path

• Call: we check your license and record with you first. No surprises later.
• Orientation: up to 2 days, hotel covered, bus fare reimbursed, $300 once hired.
• Training: 4 to 6 weeks one-on-one with a mentor, paid every week.
• Solo: your own assigned truck, fleet average about 1.5 years old. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.

Nervous about your first driving job? Fair.

• \"How often will I see home?\" Every two weeks.
• \"Does my CDL school count?\" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• \"Will one ticket disqualify me?\" Not by itself. Up to 2 moving violations in the past 2 years is accepted.
• \"What if I have a problem on the road?\" Loads are planned for you, and your driver leader picks up the phone.
• \"What if my first solo weeks are slow?\" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months solo.
