Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a hardworking Laborer II to join our field crews in Colorado. You will assist in construction, maintenance, and installation of underground utilities, supporting operators and crew leaders to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a valid CDL A license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with competitive pay of $26–$33 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• Experience working with underground utilities desired
• CDL A is required for this position
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction/ reconstruction and maintenance work
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions
• Work with specialized equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other necessary tools
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump truck
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Complete duties as assigned
