Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking dedicated workers to support underground utility projects in residential and commercial areas. You will assist crews in construction, maintenance, and site preparation while following safety protocols.

Excellent physical capacity and ability to work with heavy equipment are essential. CDL A is required within two weeks, and bilingual skills are a plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times during a work shift.
• Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction/reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Work with jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other tools.
• Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump trucks.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
