Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a Laborer II in Grand Junction, CO, to support underground utility construction and maintenance as part of a crew. CDL A is required for this position; bilingual skills are a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site role with pay ranging from $26.00 to $30.00 per hour. You will assist crew leaders, operate jackhammers and drills, help locate underground obstructions, and maintain a safe work site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• CDL A is required for this position.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Driver’s License within two weeks of employment.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction, reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Operate jackhammers, rotary drills and power actuated fasteners.
• Signal operators to align and move machinery and materials.
• Maintain safe work sites around heavy equipment and utilities.
