Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking truck drivers to haul dry van freight nationwide from Morgan City. Trainees start with mentorship for 4–6 weeks, earning $650 per week plus orientation pay, and transition to solo runs with guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months.

Expect average weekly pay between $1,200 and $1,800, with $15 per extra stop and home time every two weeks. Benefits include medical, dental and vision after 30 days, a 401(k) and stock purchase program, and free online college for you

Qualifications

• Trainees welcome.
• 6 months in past 12 months or 12 months in past 5 years of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry van freight across the continental U.S. with pickups and drops.
• Follow a mentor during training and transition to solo runs within 4–6 weeks.
• Return home every two weeks and maintain on-time delivery performance.

How You Start

What We Need

• 21+, valid Class A CDL, minimum 120 hours CDL school
• Trainees welcome. Experienced: 6 months in the past 12 or 12 months in the past 5 years
• Military considered with DD214
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, nothing serious in 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Hair and urine drug test, 3 years verifiable work history
