Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Pasco, WA is seeking CDL-A drivers starting with comprehensive training to run long dry-van loads. Trainees ride with an experienced trainer on real loads and are paid weekly from day one, with home time every two weeks.

After training, drivers move into their own truck with full pay. Expect about $1,400 in average weekly earnings, plus a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first three months and a performance bonus on top of standard mileage pay.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and 21+ years old.
• Live within 100 miles of Inland Northwest hiring cities.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads during training.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Pasco drivers can start with a fleet that hires out of the Inland Northwest, trains new CDL holders on real freight and pays them every week from day one.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• Paid $900 every week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

The Job

• Dry van freight, long runs with steady miles
• Around 2,000 miles per week
• Home every 2 weeks
• Hiring from the Spokane, Tri-Cities, Lewiston and Boise areas

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,400
• Standard mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus
• $15 stop pay

Two Ways to Start

• CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. Paid training with a driver trainer, paid every week while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years. Skip training and go straight to your own truck.
