Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Class A Linehaul Driver for our Seekonk, MA Service Center. You will haul van or double trailers between service centers and turn-points and return home daily. The role offers daily home time and the opportunity to work with a respected transportation leader.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• 1 yr. verifiable Class A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Good MVR/PSP with no serious violations and max 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Age: 23 (21 if FMCSA military to civilian CDL)
• Ability to operate equipment safely at all times; pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen; pass road test.
• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty; dependable.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Seekonk, MA Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screenMust be able to complete a successful road test
• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
