Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL-A Linehaul Driver for the Piedmont, SC service center. You will pull van trailers up to 53’ or doubles between service centers and return home daily on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 11:00pm–9:00am).

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total in 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if FMCSA specs for military to civilian CDL transition.
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen.
• Must complete a road test.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Piedmont, SC Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
