Job summary

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Canton, MA Service Center. You will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between our service centers and returning home daily.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus, PTO after 90 days, and a benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) with match, and employee resort lodging. CDL-A and 1 year experience preferred; safety and compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience in past 3 years.
• Clean driving record/MVR and PSP, minimal violations.
• Age 23, 21 if FMCSA military-to-civilian transition meets requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pull van or double trailers up to 53' between service centers.
• Return home daily after routes.
• Operate equipment safely and pass pre-employment DOT requirements.
• Complete road tests and maintain safe driving standards.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Canton, MA Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
