Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking an experienced CDL-A Truck Driver Linehaul in Wheeling, IL. This full-time role operates on a Monday–Friday schedule with a third shift, and drivers are home daily after completing linehaul runs.

You can earn up to $95,000 yearly with comprehensive benefits. PTO accrues after 90 days, and the company offers medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) with matching contributions, plus vacation and holidays, including lodging at exclusive employee resorts.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL Class A.
• 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record/MVR and PSP with no major violations and <=3 moving violations in 3 years.
• Age 23 (21 if FMCSA military transition)
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must complete a successful road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely at all times.
• Be available for third-shift linehaul runs, Monday–Friday.
• Home daily upon completing runs.

Earn up to $95,000 yearly.

Our drivers are home every day!

PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
