Job summary

NEW Cooperative is seeking a Class A CDL driver to move grain and related products across locations, following DOT and company safety regulations. The role requires high safety standards, good customer service, and the ability to work extended hours during busy seasons.

The ideal candidate will have a CDL Class A with tanker and HazMat endorsements, a DOT physical every two years, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL Class A with tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• Must pass DOT physical every 2 years.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Seasonal in-season time commitment and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drives trucks to move grain and other products using various trailer types.
• Complies with DOT and OSHA safety programs and company policies.
• Performs or schedules maintenance on equipment and vehicles; conducts daily inspections.
• Assists in other areas at the location and works extended hours during busy seasons.
• Maintains safe, courteous driving and professional behavior; reports hazards and unsafe conditions.
