Padnos is seeking a CDL-A driver to operate a variety of trucks and participate in trailer/container switching at customer locations. The role emphasizes maintaining excellent customer relations and adherence to safety and DOT procedures.

Responsibilities include loading, weighing, documenting shipments, and performing routine inspections in an outdoor environment. A high school diploma and a clean driving record are required, with pre-employment drug tests and physicals mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CDL Class A license with no manual transmission restriction (E).
• Clear driving record expected.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Lift up to 75 lbs with chaining.
• Legible handwriting and strong math skills.
• Ability to work independently and be detail oriented.
• Maintain logbooks and complete pre-employment steps.

Responsibilities

• Service customer locations and maintain good relations.
• Provide outstanding customer service as a service representative.
• Prepare shipping documents, weigh loads, and inspect materials.
• Maintain scale tickets, shippers, logbooks, and trip reports.
• Submit accident damage and traffic reports as needed.
• Perform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Inspect loads and tarp/secure as needed.
• Maintain inside of truck and data entry for vendor codes.
