Job summary

Athens Services is seeking a Commercial Driver to safely operate a heavy-duty truck on recycling and commercial routes, delivering outstanding customer service while complying with DOT and company policies.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, report vehicle issues, and coordinate with Dispatch to ensure efficient routes. A valid CDL, at least 1 year of experience, and ability to meet physical requirements are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Class A or B Driver's License.
• 1 year of experience operating a commercial vehicle.
• Able to meet all DOT requirements.
• Able to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy-duty truck on recycling and commercial routes per schedule.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR.
• Report any vehicle deficiencies to Route Supervisor/Dispatch/Maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work area.
• Communicate customer requests/issues to Dispatch/Route Supervisor.
• Complete route documentation and ensure customer locations are clean after service.
