The Macomb Group in Akron, Ohio, seeks a full-time Class A Driver to perform local deliveries of PVF products. You will join a family-oriented team that emphasizes work-life balance with no nights, no holidays, and no Sundays, plus competitive benefits.

Based in Akron, this role offers a day shift Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday OT. The company values reliability, safety, and customer service and provides growth opportunities within a leading Midwest distributor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Class A License must be held.
• DOT Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to customers.
• Transport PVF materials to destinations.
• Prepare receipts for load pickup.
• Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery.
• Load/unload materials as needed; assist in warehouse duties.

Summary

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time class A driver at our Akron, Ohio location. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepares receipts for load pickup
• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class A License
• DOT Certification
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Akron, Ohio

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM

No nights, holidays, or Sundays
