Job summary

McLane is hiring a CDL-A Driver Trainee in Minnesota. You will receive paid training and hands-on coaching to become a full Driver, with early evening dispatch and overnight deliveries. From day one you will earn competitive pay and benefits as you embark on a career with a respected transportation team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to attach trailers and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects and submit DOT report.
• Use Driver Delivery Handheld (DDH) to document receipts and temps.
• Train with Driver Trainers across destinations to learn driving rules.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations.
