Job summary

McLane is seeking a CDL-A Driver Trainee in Minnesota to train and grow into a full Driver position. You will receive paid training, hands-on coaching, and day-one benefits while learning every aspect of the role.

From day one, you’ll earn competitive pay with a structured plan and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, as the company leverages 130+ years in distribution and a nationwide driver network.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Willingness to load/unload and/or deliver all products ordered by customers.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read labels, instructions, and bills of lading.

Responsibilities

• Train with Driver Trainers to learn all aspects of the role.
• Operate tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Inspect equipment for defects before and after trips and document inspections.
• Use Driver Delivery Handheld to document receipts and temperatures.
• Assist in unloading and delivering products to customer locations.
• Provide on-time delivery and respond to customer needs and credits.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
