Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Roll Off Driver in Wellston, OH to service customers with roll-off waste and debris removal. You will operate the truck safely, manage routes, and interact professionally with customers and dispatch.

Requires a valid Class B CDL, ability to travel between offices as needed, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. You will complete DVIR logs, perform pre/post trips, and ensure proper load securement for safe transport of waste.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire
• Must be at least 19 years of age
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
• Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
• Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas
• Exposure to residential and commercial waste
• Ability to travel between offices, as required
• Ability to work flexible hours; nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Operate truck in a safe and compliant manner to provide roll-off delivery and removal services to customers on an assigned route(s) or by work order
• Maintains and updates route sheets
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs
• Visually inspect roll off containers and ensure proper load securement to prevent loss of trash and debris
• Clean up areas located around compactor when servicing customers as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab
• Enter/exit the truck multiple times per day
• Climb to hook/unhook containers, move items to smooth the load and secure tarps
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers, and work with dispatch on additional work orders to ensure quality customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned
