Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tractor/trailer and ensure safe, timely deliveries in accordance with DOT rules.

The role requires a clean MVR, 21+ age, valid CDL-A with doubles, and ability to lift 60–90 pounds. You'll work 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, with comprehensive benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Work required 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Report all safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer for proper load and ensure secure freight.
• Maintain route paperwork with tractor-trailer load and dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule; hook/unhook safely.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Secure equipment and freight; manage damaged goods and returns.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Keep tractor area and loading dock clean and organized.
