Job summary

Performance Food Group in the United States is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem/trtractor/straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, following DOT regulations and company safety standards.

You will perform safety checks, hook/unhook, secure freight, maintain logs, and cooperate with customers and coworkers to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• 21+ years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Willing to work 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday nights.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
• Drives and delivers trailers on predetermined routes.
• Completes daily records of hours of service per regulations.
• Performs housekeeping duties and other related tasks.
