Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tractor/trailer combinations on intrastate and interstate routes, follow DOT regulations, and interact professionally with customers and co-workers.

The role requires a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 12 months of driving experience, and a 21+ age requirement.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Safety checks of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to route schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures and secure freight.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and maintain paperwork.
