Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, complying with DOT regulations and safety standards. The role requires operating tandem/tractor trailers and handling various product weights.

You will participate in safety checks, document hours, and ensure paperwork is complete while maintaining a safe, efficient operation. Benefits and growth opportunities are highlighted in the program.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and DOT inspections on tractor/trailer.
• Deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations on time.
• Turn around and deliver trailers following route schedules.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment.
