Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver in the Harrisburg area to transport trailers between warehouse locations and domicile yards. You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks, following DOT regulations and safety checks while maintaining efficient, on-time moves.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, safe driving practices, and accurate paperwork. This role requires a 21+ driver with a valid CDL A and Dou- bles endorsement, and a 3rd shift schedule

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for past 3 years.
• 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and operate equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regs and inspect equipment.
• Drive and deliver trailers per route schedule; hook/unhook per safety guidelines.
• Maintain required route paperwork and log hours of service.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers professionally; report issues promptly.
• Ensure secure loading/unloading and housekeeping in yard and trailers.
• Complete duties to support safe and efficient shuttle operations.
