Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Abilene, TX. Responsibilities include transporting empty trailers to warehouse locations, turning around and delivering full trailers, and complying with DOT regulations. Training lasts two weeks in Temple, TX, with competitive pay and full benefits.

Schedule is Sunday–Friday, 1-3 trips, 2:30pm–12am depending on load. A $5,000 sign-on bonus applies, along with a robust benefits package starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years of age and have DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drives trailers on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver/turn around trailers.
• Completes daily log of hours of service per regulations.
• Unloads and secures freight in trailers and maintains clean equipment.
