Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Austell, GA seeks a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to domiciles and return empties to the distribution center. CDL-A with a clean MVR is required; 21+ and at least 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required with clean driving record
• 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles in tractor-trailer driving
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed
• Work safely to prevent injury and protect goods
• Other duties as assigned
