Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Ohio is hiring a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empties to the Distribution Center. You will inspect rigs, secure cargo, and log DOT data while maintaining safety.

Compensation includes a biweekly pay range of $2,300 to $3,000 plus Day 1 benefits (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, and vacation and holidays. Qualifications: 21+, valid CDL-A, 1 year or 50,000 miles experience, clean MVR, and good English.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at an operational level.
• Meets McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
