Performance Foodservice is hiring a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers between operating locations and deliver full trailers to domicile yards. Typical schedule is 4 days, starting at 1 pm, with pay of $70,000 per year.

The role involves DOT-compliant driving across intrastate and interstate routes, safety inspections, and interacting professionally with customers and co-workers. Strong safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required/Equivalent experience.
• At least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21+ years old; meet licensing requirements where applicable.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer, tandem, or straight truck per DOT regulations.
• Transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to yards.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and report safety issues.
• Ensure trailer is loaded/secured and paperwork is complete.
• Maintain hours-of-service log per DOT and company policy.
• Assist with general housekeeping of tractor and loading dock areas.
